woman shot outside an apartment building in West Hollywood

 After a lady was shot in broad daylight outside an apartment building in West Hollywood on Friday, detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department were looking into the incident.




Around 8:15 a.m., a call was received reporting that someone at the Dylan Apartments, which are close to the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and La Brea Avenue, had at least one gunshot wound. Its website states that the price for a unit rental is $3,118.


The victim was transferred to a local hospital, where it is unknown how she is doing.


The immediate area is blocked off to traffic for the investigation, as shown in video from SkyFOX.


No other information was made available right away.
