Third Test victory for England gives them a historic clean sweep in Pakistan.

On Tuesday in Karachi, England defeated Pakistan by eight wickets in the third and final Test to win the series 3-0 and prevent Pakistan from ever having a home whitewash.

After resuming on 112-2, England quickly reached the modest 167-run goal, with Ben Duckett and Ben Stokes both scoring an unbeaten 82 and 35.

In Rawalpindi, England won the first Test by 74 runs, and in Multan, it won by 26 runs.

This was England's first Test tour of Pakistan since 2005; in the intervening years, the team declined to visit the South Asian nation due to security reasons.

On the fourth day, Duckett hit his 12th boundary off fast bowler Mohammad Wasim to secure the victory, with England scoring 170-2.

Stokes was dropped by Agha Salman off of the spinner Abrar Ahmed with the English captain just needing 19 points to win.

With nine victories in their last ten games, England has demonstrated the validity of their recently adopted loose-lipped style of Test cricket, known as "Bazball," after head coach Brendon McCullum.

In May, McCullum and Stokes took over a struggling team that had lost 17 of their previous Test matches, including a humiliating 4-0 loss in the Ashes in Australia.

The Pakistan tour began with England playing explosive cricket, scoring 506-4 to set a record for the most team runs on the first day of a Test.

Another record was set that day by four batters: Duckett, Ollie Pope, Zak Crawley, and Harry Brook.

Furthermore, Stokes shown audacity as Pakistan's captain by posing a challenging 343-run goal in Rawalpindi and implementing unorthodox fielding strategies to secure wickets.

Injuries to Pakistan's fast bowlers, including Shaheen Shah Afridi's knee injury that forced him to withdraw prior to the series, added to their woes.

Due to fitness issues, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah missed the most recent two Tests. However, Pakistan's final six wickets were lost for 108 in the first innings in Karachi, and seven were lost for 52 in the second, leading to significant batting collapses.

With the loss on Tuesday, Pakistan has now lost four consecutive home Test matches for the first time since being defeated by Australia in Lahore in March.
